PLEASE DO NOT KNOWINGLY MISUSE POLICE HOTLINE! If it is evidenced that you knowingly misuse police hotline, you will not only be punished by competent authority in accordance with “Public Security Administration Punishments Law”, but also be forbidden from making trip requests for 1-7 days on DiDi.
According to “Public Security Administrati-on Punishments Law” and related policies, knowingly misusing police hotline mainly includes harassing the Police, giving false information of emergencies or cases.
a) The behaviors of Harassing the Police include but not limited to calling 110 without proper reason, or intentionally disrupt, make fun of or insult the 110 operator, which occupy resources of 110.
b) “Public Security Administration Punishents Law”, Article 23 Where a person commits any of the following acts, he shall be given a warning or a pecuniary penalty. If the circumstances are serious, he (she) shall be detained for not less than 5 days but not more than 10 days and may be fined RMB 500:
(1) He (she) disturbs the order of any organ, social organization, enterprise or public institution and makes it impossible for the work, production, business, medical services, teaching or scientific research to proceed normally, but has not caused any serious loss;
2.Give false information of emergency
a) The behaviors of giving false information of emergency include but not limited to making up and spreading fake emergencies or reporting fake emergencies to the Police intentionally.b) “Public Security Administration Punishments Law” Article 25 Anyone who commits any of the following acts shall be detained for not less than 5 days but not more than 10 days, and may be concurrently fined RMB 500. If the circumstances are relatively lenient, he (she) shall be detained 5 days or less or be fined not more than RMB 500:
(1) Intentionally disturbing public order by spreading any rumor, giving false information about the situation of any risk, epidemic disease or emergency, or by any other means;
3.Give false information of case
a) The behaviors of giving false information of case include but not limited to intentionally reporting to the competent authority with cases which do not exist, or are exaggerated, having influence on the work of competent authority.
b) “Public Security Administration Punishments Law” Article 60, Anyone who commits any of the following acts shall be detained for not less than 5 days but not more than 10 days, and be concurrently fined RMB 200-500:
(2) Making up, hiding, destroying evidence or providing fake oath, giving false information of cases, which have influence on the work of competent authority.
